STEMaster Training and Elementary After School Programs

Summit elementary schools have a fantastic opportunity to provide STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) after school programs with help from Colorado State University (CSU). CSU has asked Summit School District to pilot a new State 4-H STEMasters program. CSU is providing all the materials, curriculum and training for the following after school programs:

  • Robotics
(computer program Lego robots and team competition)

  • Energy
    (wind, solar, bio-fuels, electricity)

  • Environment (forestry, gardening, geology,
    butterflies)

  • Science
101 (Pre-K thru 5th grade - physical, earth and life)
We are recruiting 3-5 volunteers and teachers to help us offer an after school program at each school. No science background needed.
